(3) I think it would be better for this car to leave any time now for the Works, so that it can be fitted up for going to France, after which it can come here with Bullamore, to be loaded, with a few things I wish it to take out. (8) STARTER. My impression was that the starter-motor Bijur pinion went into gear with a great crash. Perhaps it is only when the engine is cold. (9) IGNITION PLUGS. These seem good - hope they will continue. No pre-ignitions, but self-cleaning. I noticed that the ignition control is hardly enough to restart on the ignition. I fear if we make it later it will be too late for best running, therefore more movement by the control lever seems desirable. Kindly confirm all this. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
