To EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/RDO. c. to Bv. 86000. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.20/JH.18.5.36. With reference to your complaint that the Lodge A.5.B. sparking plug will not fit the K.L.G. screened caps, we have investigated the matter and find that the difficulty has arisen due to Messrs. K.L.G. altering the dimensions on their screened cap, without informing the Air Ministry or Messrs. Lodge. The matter has now been satisfactorily remedied by Messrs. Lodge and K.L.G. Will you please note that it is possible to make Lodge A.5.B. sparking plugs fit the K.L.G. by filing .050" from the top of the ball end. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
