- 2 - In the event of it not being considered desirable to incorporate the frame extension to suit the luggage grid and the new luggage grid itself, it is possible for us to cut off the extension, leaving the frame precisely like the present one, except that the Joggle is 1" further back. This, providing it was made known soon enough to the Coachbuilders, could not possibly affect bodywork. "X" Series is a fair way off at the moment, and there is very little possibility of any bodies which are at present under construction being fitted to an "X" Series chassis. This being the case, I would like to recommend, even if we cannot adopt the frame with extension and luggage grid, that we should adopt the frame with the modified position of Joggle. It cannot affect the strength and if information is issued soon enough, it cannot affect coachbuilders. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Signature] | ||
