To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X336 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW.19.7.35 SpectreCodename for Phantom III Pistons. We think that as a safety-first measure we ought to design and make a SpectreCodename for Phantom III piston to exactly the same scheme as the present Phantom and 20/25 pistons. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} reports so little trouble with these now that it seems foolish to start the car in production with anything else. In the meantime, our tests on semi-split pistons, etc., are going ahead. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
