Hallam - Head Repairs} /WW3/W4.12.25. Re Chassis No. GRK.43 - Major H.H. Beever. BJ. has written to inform us that the above owner is having considerable trouble with the petrol system on his chassis, and that if found to be necessary we are to fit a new Autovac and Carburetter. In connection with this matter, and for your information we have extracted the following paragraph from BJ's memo :- "Incidentally in this connection BJ. states that when he was in Napiers, considerable trouble was experienced on certain cars due to petrol stoppage over a period of 6 months. This was eventually found to be due to a petrol pipe passing near to an exhaust pipe, which, when it was at a certain heat set up an air lock in the petrol pipe. " Hm {Capt. W.
