X8980 With regard to the above it occurs to us that your tests have checked the effect of every lubrication feature on the engine which might contribute to over-oiling, with the exception of the pressure feed to the piston pins. It is conceivable that at high speed a considerable quantity of oil might be thrown out of this feed due to the inertia effects at the top of the stroke.
