When tests are completed with the 1.750" diameter valve in the aluminium head RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}315, the seat insert RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}316 can be machined out as shown on RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}315 to accommodate this larger inlet valve.
