SS.{S. Smith} EXHAUST CUTOUT CONTROL.
We have not yet sent you a cutout control for the L.H. SS.{S. Smith} and we send herewith N. sch. 2861 shewing a proposal in which it is possible to fit a cutout to the L.H. chassis at the last minute. This is because we believe this fitting will not be required for chassis for America, though it will be required for those for the continent.
We have now to send you the modification to the toggle gear required by the use of tubular members.
