| x 250 To RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}:1/JH. 22.1.36. Bentley steering: We wish to bump test the small Marles steering at present fitted to 3-B-IV. Will you please remove the steering from this chassis and fit it to the bumper chassis, and, during the change over, hand the steering to us as we wish to carry out some deflection measurements for comparision with the standard Bentley steering. Either the Peregrine steering from 5-B-IV or the steering previously fitted to 3-B-IV can be fitted in place of the Marles steering. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev.
