Y8410 We have modified the number of plates etc in the front springs to correspond with what has been done on E.A.C. 3. and send herewith N.scheme 1849., giving a table of spring particulars, and also a layout shewing the relation of the spring to the frame. It will be noticed that we have provided for 2¾" bump, though we have retained the original 3½" initial deflection. Our object is to keep the 40/50 rating without increasing the height of frame from the ground. The rubber buffer shewn is similar to that instructed for E.A.C.3.
