The pole-pieces are not laminated, and are secured, with only one screw each. Some of the coils do not fit properly round the pole-coil, there being spaces at the ends. Connections between the coils and the terminal are very crude, an ill-shaped bolt simply pressing them one upon the other, the ends being just.
