Studebaker damper on B80

We have found that the Studebaker damper as fitted to,B80 removes the engine periods more effectively if fitted with higher friction load and a smaller rubber load.
On 11 B.V. we are using rubbers to Exs 1421 but with a Durometer hardness of 35-40 and springs to Exs 1766 with an increased free length of 1.107". The working length of the spring is the same as before i.e. .750" but it now exerts a load of 39 lbs. at this length. Will you please alter the drawings to these figures or if you consider the spring is too heavily stressed will you give us one having the same working load.
