Mr.Armitage of Borg & Beck and Mr.Emmott Jun. called today, and examined the above rig. Mr.Armitage agreed that they should have one at Leamington. I told him (quite unofficially) that I under-stood the price would probably be £30 to £35, which struck him as including rather high overheads, and they may decide to make one at their own works. I suggest that if we made two together (one for B & B and one for N.) the overhead would be lower, and if we could make a concession and offer to supply one for about £20, they would probably order one.
