Re: 20/25 HP. and Bentley Clutches.
With reference to your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}9/AP. 25.2.38, the amount of slack in the bronze bush referred to was approximately .006". We do not definitely state all this is due to wear.
A reply from the Owner, which had the new bush fitted to the bronze plate, states he is perfectly satisfied now with the action of the clutch.
