We send you herewith copies of two letters which we have received from Messrs.Rippon Bros., this morning, and both refer to Hydraulic shock absorber knocks on the two cars mentioned above.

In the case of Chassis GKM-40, we wrote them on the 30th.ult., asking them to send the car to the Works, and the letter of the 1st. inst., is Rippon Bros' reply, after consulting the Owner.

Will you please let us know as early as possible how we are to deal with these two cases, as we are anxious to reply to the letters to-day.
