SECRET.

To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ.
c. to G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} [struck through]
c. to S. [struck through]
c. to PN.{Mr Northey}
c. to CWB.
c. to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}

R.{Sir Henry Royce} told me on Thursday he was quite satisfied with and liked the Sports Car immensely and that we can now go straight ahead and make it as it is. Congratulations on your success.

When can it now come to London for a day or so for S. to try it. Nothing should delay its starting for 10,000 miles at the earliest possible date.

It must still be kept secret and not be seen in London or public garages or left in public places.

Sales Officials will test it and report to me but its progress will not be stopped unless there is something unforeseen that is radically undesirable. The criticism of S. Officials will be especially useful in connection with its future development.

BJ.
