June 1921. Messrs Rolls-Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, D E R B Y. X 3573 Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of the 3rd. instant, addressed to Messrs. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} & P. Hill. We are the Sole Licensees for Great Britain for Condensite, and are just erecting new Works and the necessary Plant for the manufacture of the material. In fact, we learn that the last machine will be completed at the American Works and shipped to us probably in the course of this month. As soon as the Plant is set up, production of Condensite Powder will commence immediately. At first we shall concentrate our energies on the Powder only, i.e., the moulding material, as there is such a large demand for it, and we desire to keep our numerous customers well supplied. A little later on, we shall probably lay down the necessary Moulding Plant, in the shape of Hot Plate Presses, etc, and then could supply mouldings to customers' own pattern, but, as mentioned before, this is not our intention in the first instance. The booklet we are sending you herewith describes Condensite and illustrates a few of the numerous uses to which it has been put. We have no hesitation in saying that your experience with Condensite would be as equally satisfactory as the large number of users who have already adopted the material. We shall be happy to keep you advised, and as soon as our new Works are making an output, we can then supply Condensite Moulding Powder in either black or natural colour (brown) and either fine or coarse grinding, in any quantities up to 5 or 10 tons per week, if desired. Assuring you of our best attention and awaiting the favour of your reply. Yours faithfully, CONDENSITE COMPANY (signed) W. Cooper. | ||
