Upon receipt of your note I wrote Messrs. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.}& P.Hill of Sheffield, and am this morning in receipt of their letter ref.- No.57416, of 4th inst. copy of which I attach. I gather that the business is the property of Mr.J.A.Hill who trades in the name of Condensite Co. at the address Ordnance Works, Sheffield. You will note the Condensite Co. state they are sole licensees for Great Britain for Condensite and are erecting plant for the manufacture of the material. They also state that later on they will probably install a moulding plant in the shape of hot plate presses etc. The booklet referred to in the letter is being sent to R.{Sir Henry Royce} today, but I have applied for six further copies, which on receipt will be distributed to EFC, Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}, Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}, By and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I am asking the Condensite Co. to quote prices for the moulding powder in black and natural colour (brown) to enable a comparison to be made with the price of Formite powder and if their reply is sufficiently encouraging, I will visit the firm and endeavour to obtain further information.
