BRAKE TESTS.

Conditions.

Front Brakes.
C.I. Drums (cooling ribs) Ferobestos Linings .375 thick.

Rear Brakes.
C.I. Drums (cooling ribs) Ferodo Bonded Linings thick.

Servo.
Cotton A Linings.

(1) Cold measurement of front toggle levers (hand press) foot pedal from dashboard with light hand pressure.
(2) Take measurements again after 6 medium brakings from 40 M.P.H. to 10.
(3) Brake hard from 70 M.P.H. to 10 M.P.H. 6 times check time taken in each test.
(4) Take measurements of foot pedal and front toggle levers after previous tests. Allow to cool down. Repeat measurements.
(5) Brake hard but not to lock wheels from 40 M.P.H. to 10 M.P.H. every approx. half mile, check time taken in each case to obtain consistent braking. This test to run 20 miles
(6) Test light and heavy braking for squeaks, groans etc. Front. Rear.
(7) Repeat tests starting from & with No.4.
(8) Take measurements after returning to Works.
