W/S - Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} x 200~ Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}3/KW.8.11.35. Repairs to 5-B-IV. From the condition of the car at the completion of the 10,000 miles test, we are not surprised at the amount of work which had to be done on the car. You can probably estimate better than we can whether the charges for the work are excessive or not. My own opinion is that we have got to come to some arrangement with Park Wards with regard to sharing the cost involved on a 10,000 miles test. At the present moment we are running their steel body for them, and according to the present arrangement it would be logical for us to send in a large bill for chassis repairs incurred whilst testing their product. I have seen Mr. Ward and he has promised to go over the estimate again and see if he cannot reduce it. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
