BENTLEY.

(1) Bowering will discuss Fisher's scheme for cutting off the main jet when the throttle is closed, and report as to whether it is practicable.

(2) Steadman will take up with Marstons the relatively high price of the Mark V radiator, considering its low weight, and see if he can get a reduction. X

(3) Steadman will report on the flexibly bladed Bentley fan now being detailed. TEST BED

(4) Dodd will proceed with the work on Geoffrey Smith's car.

(5) Dodd will complete his report re the alterations required with the large oil pump in order to keep the oil pressure down. ✓

(6) Martindale should report on the zinc wire brake liners which have been fitted to the green car. ✓

(7) Whyman should proceed with simplifying the exhaust system for the big bore Bentley, with a view to bringing this in at a later date. X

(8) Matthews will instruct solid Hall's metal bearings, mains and big ends, for B-9 unit, to replace B-1, and get it running endurance as soon as possible. ✓

(9) Swindall will keep in close touch with the final scheme for the Stromberg carburetters, and get it on the test bed as soon as available. ✓

(10) Leslie will obtain some Bentley low rating road springs which have a reasonable stress, so that these can be tested in conjunction with the roll rod on 6-B-IV. We should like to know if the roll rod off 3-B-IV will go on to 6-B-IV without any trouble. [Handwritten: 3BSEV]

(11) Whyman should see that the links he has got for 6-B-IV can be fitted as an alternative to the properly schemed links.
