Phantom III Carburetter Accelerator Pump Plunger Gland.

Further to our memo. ref: E/PSN.1/MN.11.9.36, we send you herewith LoC.5333 of a lightened accelerator pump gland spring and instructions for removing the existing cork washer between the gland cup and float chamber lid.{A. J. Lidsey}

A dozen of these springs are at present under test by Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} and the Expl. Department, and we should be pleased if you would have this modified spring detailed so that should it prove satisfactory we shall be in a position to instruct it immediately for production.

We also send you a copy of the original memo. instructing this spring experimentally, as due to an error you did not receive a copy of the memo. initially.
