For the attention of Mr. Price. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of April 7th, reference HEP/LW.550. We have asked our London people to let you have any of the covers, the shoulders of which were removed, which have done a considerable mileage on demonstration work. In the meantime we shall be glad if you could deliver 5 of these covers to Derby as soon as possible, so that we can run them on one of our endurance tests here. If you cannot get these covers to Derby before the night of Wednesday the 15th inst., they will not be in time for this particular test. At the same time, as we pointed out to you, we should like you to submit a tyre to us which conforms more with your idea of wearing qualities, and at the same time will make the minimum of noise.
