We attach a photostat copy showing the wiring connections of the R.R. earthed wiring scheme (in its present condition), which we thought might be of assistance to you in arranging this scheme on chassis 4 EX.

There are certain points about this upon which it is necessary to remark :-

(1). The small figures 70 and 40 (and certain colours indicated) refer to the wires which will be used when the scheme is perfected, namely, 70/36's and 40/36's. You will, of course, do the whole of the wiring, except that for the heavy current for the starter motor, with the 70/36's already obtained for this purpose, except in the unlikely event of the job being so long delayed that the new wire has been obtained.

X 2515(2). Copper wire fuses, as detailed out, will not be used, but tin lead wire fuses will be used of sizes which we shall specify later, and which we are working on at the moment.

(3). We have marked on this diagram in red, the wires which are always in dead connection with the chassis frame, and we have marked on in green the portions of the circuit which are always at 12 volts potential from earth. The remaining portions of the circuit are left in white.
