Dear Sirs,

Order No. CP. 38.

We are in receipt of your favour of the 9th inst., reference Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Dnl{Mr Dunwel}/HP9220, and regret to advise you that, owing to a breakdown in our Works, we shall be unable to deliver the Fuse Wire to the above order under 10/14 days.

Repairs are being effected as quickly as possible, and we will do our utmost to improve upon this date.
