Re your memos. Sr/VA.11/HP.19.10.38. and Sr/VA.2/HB.{C. E. Harcombe} 19.10.38. requesting for pipes and brackets to house General filters on the above cars similar to the parts previously sent by us for Sr's. car we have no more parts made up for the job.

These are not very difficult to produce and under the pressure of work here, we think it more satisfactory for you to produce the necessary parts.

We understand that there is a Fram filter service depot in Paris and it would be a good opportunity to fit a Fram on one car and a General on the other in order to compare their cleaning ability, that is if you can keep in touch with these cars.
