We have to acknowledge receipt of your communication of the 11th, reference as above, concerning the grinding of a further twelve of your E.86632 Pistons. We note your requirements and shall be pleased to carry out the work as soon as ever possible after receipt of the castings. We would also confirm that we posted to you on Saturday last a further set of 3 1/2" Bentley Pistons, these being the first of the strengthened type, and we trust they are now safely to hand. According to our records of these pistons, the increase in weight resulting from the added material, amounts to 1.1 oz. on the finished piston. In case the information has not already reached you, no doubt you will be interested to know that we have received Mr.Sidgreaves' agreement to our advertising the fact of Aerolite Pistons being fitted to the Bentley.
