-2- (1) Contd. The Works Committee would very much like a decision on this as soon as possible, from CJ. (2) Rear Springs both for America and England. Referring to cable from U.S.A. this question was raised at the meeting today and after a long discussion it was agreed that we could not come to an agreement immediately as to the best policy. It was agreed that a sub-committee, composed of Messrs Platford, Bailey and Hives, should meet and discuss the question, and then get into touch with Mr.Royce on the matter. (3) Reference BJ4/DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}27.S.29. Remuneration to workers who make suggestions. This question was discussed at today's meeting and no decision was come to, but a sub-committee, consisting of Messrs Hallam, Haldenby and Wormald was selected to investigate four questions at issue at present, with a view to gaining sufficient experience to enable them to report to the Works Committee, with a view to finding a final solution for the whole scheme of remuneration. | ||
