25/30 H.P. Steering Modification It has been suggested that the modification to the original 25/30 H.P. Steerings, consisting of replacing Roller Followers having 0.187 radius ball tracks with the latest type having either 0.130 or 0.127 radius tracks, should be discontinued. This modification was originated to avoid the possibility of customers experiencing failure of the balls in the Roller Follower. We know of the following cases of this failure. 1 On 21 G II after 2,000 miles in England. 2 On 22 G V after 15,000 miles in France. 3 On a customers car which had its Steering modified at Cricklewood. | ||
