SPARE WHEEL CARRIER ETC. X8600 X8390

We send herewith N.scheme 1836., shewing the modified spare wheel carrier.

It will be seen that we have strengthened the base and reduced the load on the bolts, at the same time reducing the tendency to diaphragm the frame side member, and we believe that this will overcome the diffi-culties experienced with the 40/50. carrier.

There are also slight modifications to the head to improve the handling of the wheel.

It will be seen that we have modified the ing bolt/of the engine foot, and shew a new step iron.

The wheel position shewn is for 'D', and we have indicated that for 'B'. The step iron shewn is for standard. There will be another step iron for Sports cars, bringing the runningboard up to the level of the bottom of the frame.

Would you please send a print of this drawing to Sales as early as possible.
