I hope that the Paulin engine unit will be quite free when Paris have finished going over the engine. This is important from your consumption run point of view. Presumably you will have an opportunity to run it in fairly thoroughly at Montlhéry. Unless putting new pistons in the old bores spoils the oil consumption we think you can, with advantage, run on S.A.E.20. With regard to coils, am not sure whether the distributor on this car will stand a high output coil, but if it will it might enable you to run on weaker mixtures than the standard.
