MODIFIED END SOCKET FOR PEDAL SHAFT INTRODUCING SPHERICAL SOCKET TO SUIT CANTILEVER PEDALS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH MEMO' DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/HP.18.1.35.

Please receive herewith two Blue Prints of each of the following parts.-

SWO:7600.-
FB.1893 Frame Drilling Modification.

BML.7100.-
FB.1894 Pedal Shaft(Brake & Clutch). 1 off. replacing FB.1564.
FB.1895 Assembly of Brake & Clutch Pedal Shaft. 1 off. replg:FB.1566.

The reason for introducing this Spherical Socket and End Piece is to enable the Pedals to follow the Engine more easily. The Jaw Sockets on the diagonal Stay will now be slightly strained, but they are much more flexible than was the rigid flanged Socket.
