Dear Robotham,

I am glad to know you like the experimental headlamps. I am sure that when they are made from tools they will look even better, as some of the lines, to my eye, do not flow too sweetly, but I agree with you that the general size and proportions give a very "snappy" outline, and when we can add the striped reflector the frontal appearance should be greatly enhanced.

It is going to be a very big job making another pair but I will see what can be done and get my people to write you direct.

I await with much interest the result of your starter drive tests, but realise it will be quite a time before you can make true comparisons.
