On behalf of Mr. Thacker who is at present absent from the works, we are acknowledging your communication of the 11th inst., and are pleased to note that the sample pair of headlamps submitted for your inspection are considered very suitable. In response to your request we are arranging for two further pairs of these headlamps to be put in hand, and we note that we shall be receiving your covering order for all three pairs. In regard to the one pair which you urgently need, we are pressing forward with this as rapidly as possible, and will do our best to meet your wishes in this respect, although you no doubt appreciate that these have to be specially produced and some delay is unavoidable.
