Dear Sirs, The writer wishes to thank you for the interview kindly accorded him yesterday and for the opportunity of demonstrating our patented system of car jacking. He will be very glad to come over again any day next week, preferably, however, Monday afternoon at or about 2.30, if this will be convenient to your goodselves. We beg to give below ten points in favour of the scheme:- (1) The whole operation of jacking up a rear axle is made from the side, and in this position no possible damage can be done to the operator's hands or clothing. (2) A rear axle can be lifted with the same certainty in the dark as in daylight. (3) Minimum added weight, the bars being about 4 lbs each. All other systems call for the use of three or four jacks and weigh with their attachment anything up to half a cwt. | ||
