4¼-litre ROCKER ARM.

Re my Pk/KC/DPB/8.1.38, owing to the absence of a piece number in your memo By3/B.7.1.38, I have wrongly assumed that the "failure of rocker arm" referred to failure of valve rocker arm piece No.EB.1750.2588/9, whereas from information given in Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}1/HR.8.1.38, it is plain that the rocker arm under discussion is the LT rocker arm of the ignition system.

In any case there have been no failures of this arm reported at K, neither has the writer heard of such a failure.

Pk/KC.
