AERO ENGINE STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

Very glad to receive your note Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ10.2.30. I am strongly of the opinion that standardisations for Aero Engines should be rigidly carried out.

If we stick to this firmly and introduce nothing without standardisation sheets, many of our troubles will disappear, and it will get our Aero business going in the same way as our chassis, and will cause the mininium amount of difficulties amongst ourselves, the Ministry people and the Administration.

Please arrange therefore, that standardisation sheets must be issued for all modifications.
