AERO ENGINES - STANDARDISATION OF NEW PARTS.

We have made several attempts in the past to have the correct procedure to introduce modifications enforced for Aero Engines, but owing to the difficulty caused by other Departments not functioning as they should, we have utterly failed, but from now on we must hold up the job until the standardisation sheet is produced.

We must before adding any new piece to :-

a/- The Part Lists.
b/- The installation drawings

obtain the following sanctions :-

1/- Standardisation sheet fully signed up.
2/- Air Ministry official modification.

The above procedure must be strictly adhered to, as although we have again and again pressed for the use of standardization sheets, today we are criticized for not getting such sheets.
