HOTEL DE FRANCE. CHATEAUROUX, Indre. France. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/4/JAB. 11th January 1937. To. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} COMPLAINTS. Exhaust system In December I sent a memo and a sketch dealing with the rear lagging clip on the front expansion box on the Bentley. The complaint is a rattle in front of engine. The clip is found to have fallen off due to the end of the silencer lagging taking a rounded shape on this short end. A small piece of metal acting as a support for the clip can be welded on to the expansion box. On complaint cases at Kingsbury, I advised them to do this to prevent repetition cases. The expense is negligible. -------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
