Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Levallois Sr/VA9/ET.30.5.38 Re: BENTLEY REAR SILENCERS ------------------------- With reference to Item 4 of Owner's Complaint Report N° P.83, we have had to attend to several cars on which there has been a rattle in the rear silencer, and we shall most probably, in the near future, have to attend to two cars on which the same trouble exists. The cause of this trouble is either the failure of one of the EB.878 clips which holds the EB.877 pipe (as fitted to the interior of the rear silencer) in position or the rivets of the clips becoming loose. We shall be glad to know if you have received similar complaints and, if so, what has been done to remedy this trouble. Sr/VA. | ||
