Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T31.10.21. I have already informed you that C.A.Vandervell & Co. have not yet quoted their prices for quantities of special CAV. 5" Dynamos and special CAV. SC.Motors, similar to the samples they have delivered. Some time after writing them for said prices, we received By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /C8/F10.11.21. giving particulars of the CAV. equipment required for 3 experimental chassis and said particulars were communicated to Vandervells on the 11th inst. We have since urged them to furnish the desired particulars and we are this morning in receipt of a letter stating that they are at the moment going thoroughly into all the points raised in connection with the Starter type SC. and the Dynamo type DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} also Starter Switches and Switchboxes, for the Lighting Equipment and hope to let us have a detailed reply in the course of a few posts. In the meantime, we have not sent our order to Vandervells for the 3 sets of equipment, as we deem it necessary to first ascertain what their prices for quantities are going to be.
