Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to - WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Copy to - BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} RL/M15.9.30. THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED SHUTTERS. With reference to your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/R/L/WJ12930. we do not want springs in connection with the thermostat control of shutters. It should be double acting with the right liquid, and the excessive friction removed, which we believe can be done by correction of the mechanism as regards bearing surface and clearance holes. (See drawing of bearing at bottom of shutters: lubrication may be needed.) R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
