Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

E.W.6. Magnetos.

We thank you for your letter of November 30th received this morning and note that you find the experimental cams on Magneto 99171 quieter than the standard cams.

In accordance with the request contained in your letter we have put in hand further cams for this magneto and are also making similar cams for the two further magnetos of this type one of which we had promised to deliver this week.

The making of cams according to the requirements set out in your letter will cause a little delay but we hope to send you a pair of such cams for magneto No. 99171 and the two further magnetos fitted with cams of similar form not later than Wednesday next which we trust will be in time for the 10,000 mile test.

Everything possible will be done to hasten completion of these cams and if we are able to complete them earlier than anticipated we will despatch them immediately.

P.T.O.
