(8) Hand Brake Equalizers Condition good. Front Equalizer. Very sluggest in its operation when removed from chassis, due to its dirty condition caused by insufficient protection from mud. The bearing in actuating lever excessively worn on outside diameter, also bushes in pull rope levers. Steering Column. Ball end badly out of round, varying from .005 to .020, otherwise condition good. Neck of ball end worn with steering tube. Spheres etc. Sleeves on universal joint fork and cross pin show signs of seizing as worn thus :- Diagram Annotations: Left Side: UNEVEN WEAR VIZ .002 TAPER + .005 ELIPTICAL ACTUAL MAX.
