Design of a radiator overflow pipe to prevent water loss.

It is good to find that the cause of the loss of water is the unfortunate shape of the overflow pipe making a deflector to the circulating water. There are two features that might be considered. (1) The overflow was arranged at the front (as usual) to avoid pouring the water, when filling, down the overflow if it were changed to the rear as suggested. (a) That we ought to have one bite at it with a single pipe of rather larger bore with flattened end. Should save cost and weight. Front.
