'SS{S. Smith}' CHASSIS. X7720

LOSS OF ENGINE COOLING WATER.

Replying to Sgl/WT19.4.29. The reason for the loss of water on the SS.{S. Smith} was investigated sometime ago. Tests then shewed that there was no fundamental fault but that there had been slight alterations made to the radiator tank causing trouble.

The recent tests which have been made have confirmed what alterations are necessary in order to overcome it.

We have any amount of faults to overcome on the 'SS{S. Smith}' chassis and the only way we can deal with them is to tackle those which we consider the most serious first of all. The serious ones are those for which we have not got a cure.
