Discrepancy in the wheel balancing of a demonstration car.

BJ15/DN7.9.25. S/N FROM BJ 103-MC. This car was sent to the Works a little time ago and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} reported as follows :- "In your memo. BJ17/H20.8.25, you mention that thw wheels on the Demonstration Car had been balanced. We found, when the car arrived at Derby, that one front wheel was 8 ozs. out of balance. Before the car left Derby we balanced the front wheels". I understand the wheels of this car were checked for balance at "N" on two occasions previous to this date. Can you please let us know how you would account for it being 8 ozs. out of balance ? | ||
