Replacement of a fabroil timing gear with a cast aluminium helical gear.

It will be noticed that the web is slightly sloping in order to avoid cooling strain when being cast. I have some doubt about holding the wheel firmly on the camshaft end as the aluminium may crush under the pressure of the 4 screws. To overcome this there is a steel plate introduced to spread the pressure. Jenkinson will supply the specification of the material. We know he has already given it some thought.
