A view has been expressed here that rattle might take place with the scheme as in Fig.I. We have little fear of this, however, owing to the small clearances and oil which would have to be displaced if this were to take place, and for other reasons, but consider it would be worth while making as in Fig.II, if tests prove as satisfactory as in the case of Fig.I.
