-2- Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., cont., however, cabled the Patent Section pressing for a reply, which I hope to have in a day or two. Having discussed the matter again with Mr. Bartlett he suggests that I write you outlining the situation as we over here see it, as follows:- We anticipate that AC-Sphinx who are taking a Licence from the Corporation to manufacture these Radiator Cores, will be in full production in about twelve months from this date, and if it would not interfere with your requirements, you could, if you chose to wait until then, obtain your supplies from that Company. If on the other hand you do not wish to wait, then we over here, subject to our people's approval on the other side, are perfectly agreeable to your having a licence, for your own automobiles only. Mr. Bartlett is sailing for the States early next week and if the matter is not satisfactorily settled before he arrives in Detroit, he will take it up immediately with Headquarters and cable full information regarding the situation.
